Justin Bieber In The Middle Of Royalties Lawsuit
Justin Bieber is allegedly facing involvement in a lawsuit over his track One Less Lonely Girl. According to the Hollywood Reporter, a fight over the songs royalties has broken out and a lawsuit has been filed by artist managers - Vance Tate and Thomas Oliviera - Who go by the name of A-Rex.
They claim to have been "stiffed" by EMI Music Publishing , LA Reid Music Publishing Company and their clients Sean Hamilton and Hyuk Shin over the track, which made it's way onto JB's debut album.
A-Rex claim to have created the Biebster's tune back in 08 for R&B singer Noel Gourdin, but One Less Lonely Girl appeared on Justin's My World LP and was credited as a collaboration between the 17year olds mentor Usher, Shin, Hamilton and two other individuals.
The duo are claiming that they are entitled to 10% of the publishing royalties, and want an estimated $200,000 for A-Rex's share.
Reports also suggest theyre seeking for damages for breach of contract, fraud, conversion and copyright infringement.
Since Bieber made the song famous, One Less Lonely Girl has become the slogan for many Beliebers, with Justin traditionally perfoming the song at his gigs with a fan from the crowd who he serenades and gives a red rose.
In other JB news his hit single Baby has surpassed over 500.000.000 million views on Youtube. The clip has overtaken Lady Gaga's Bad Romance promo as the most watchesd on the website.
Despite amassing over half-a-billion views, baby is also the most disliked video on youtube, with 1.1million giving it a thumbs down. You cant please everyone JB...
